About Course

Welcome to the World of Interactive Media!

In today’s digital age, multimedia is the driving force behind how we learn, work, and entertain ourselves. This class introduces students to the capabilities of interactive multimedia and its uses in education, industry and entertainment.

Throughout this term, we will bridge the gap between creative design and technical execution. Students will review the roles of various types of software applications and experiment with authoring tools to create one or more small projects. By the end of the course, you will not only understand the theory behind multimedia models and simulations but also possess the hands-on skills to bring your own interactive concepts to life.

What You Will Learn:

  • Multimedia Fundamentals: Understand the core components of text, audio, and images.

  • Video & Animation: Master video production, storyboarding, and motion graphics.

  • Interactive Development: Build engaging interactive media using tools like HTML5 and JavaScript.

  • Future Trends: Explore the cutting edge of VR, AR, and AI in multimedia.

  • Ethical Design: Learn the importance of multimedia accessibility and inclusive design practices.
