This period introduces the Capstone Project process and guides students through the initial phases of formulating a feasible and innovative IT-based solution to a real-world problem. Students will focus on identifying project scope, defining objectives, and synthesizing relevant literature.

Methodology, Requirements, and Feasibility
During the midterm, student teams will transition from conceptualization to planning. This involves selecting appropriate development frameworks, analyzing system requirements, and ensuring the project is viable through a comprehensive feasibility study.

Proposal Drafting and Presentation Preparation
The prefinal period is dedicated to consolidating all previous research and planning into a formal written document. Students will also engage in peer evaluations and develop the communication skills necessary for defending their proposed project.

Defense, Revision, and Final Documentation
The final period culminates in the formal oral defense of the capstone proposal. Students will demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, integrate panel feedback, and submit their final deliverables to prepare for Capstone Project 2.
